What is array?

In JavaScript, the array is a single variable that is used to store different elements. It is often used when we want to store a list of elements and access them by a single variable.

we write array values in square brackets [ ]

Example: 1

                     0         1        2       <————– index(its counts form 0 to n)

var cars =[“bmw”, “audi”, “lexus”];

document.write(cars);

OUTPUT:- bmw,audi,lexus

We can print particular element value of array with the help of index number.

Example: 2

 0         1        2       <———— index(its counts form 0 to n)

var cars =[“bmw”, “audi”, “lexus”];

document.write(cars[1]);

Example: How to print all values of array with loop?

for(a=0, a<=4, a++){

document.write(cars[a] + “<br>”);

}
